| Tutbury Castle | Ruined motte and bailey castle dating from the 12th Century where Mary Queen of Scots was twice imprisoned. Offering a whole rage of new and exciting attractions, visitors are now able to see the Great Hall, which is dressed as a 1570`s State Room, with some Tudor furniture and fascinating artefacts. A Tudor garden and herbery has been recreated and Tudor/period music often played on site. The Castle also features Falcons/Peacocks and Birds of Prey displays. There are children`s playgrounds, a gift shop and tea room. |
| St. Mary's Priory Church | Built in the late eleventh century by Henry de Ferrers. The Church reflects the importance of Tutbury in Norman times. |
